Duties of Authors
-
Authors must certify that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
-
Authors must prepare their manuscript in accordance with the journal’s Instructions for Authors.
-
Authors must properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in their work. References must follow the citation style required by the journal.
-
Authors must present their research findings accurately and honestly. Fabrication, falsification, or distortion of data is strictly prohibited.
-
All individuals listed as authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.
-
Authors must disclose all sources of financial support or funding related to the research (if any).
-
Authors must cooperate with the journal by providing additional information, clarification, or supporting documents related to the submitted manuscript, even after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
Duties of Reviewers
-
Reviewers must decline to review a manuscript if they have any conflict of interest, such as involvement in the same research project, personal relationships with the authors, or any other situation that may affect impartial judgment. Reviewers should inform the editor promptly so that a replacement can be assigned.
-
Reviewers must provide constructive comments based on academic merit and scholarly standards. Personal opinions without supporting evidence should not be used as criteria for evaluation. If reviewers identify substantial similarity between the manuscript and other published works or sources, they should inform the editor immediately.
-
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality. They must not disclose any information about the manuscript to anyone other than those authorized by the journal.
Duties of the Editor
-
The editor is responsible for evaluating the quality and suitability of submitted manuscripts and selecting articles for publication in the Journal of Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Social Science Research, in accordance with the journal’s aims and scope.
-
The editor shall make publication decisions only after the manuscript has undergone peer review by at least two qualified reviewers.
-
The editor is responsible for coordinating communication among the editorial board, reviewers, and authors to ensure a smooth and efficient review and publication process.
-
The editor must not publish manuscripts that have been previously published elsewhere.
-
The editor must maintain confidentiality and must not disclose information about authors or reviewers to any unauthorized individuals during the review process.
-
The editor must assign manuscripts to reviewers who have no conflicts of interest. Reviewers should not be affiliated with the same institution as the authors.
