Journal History
The Office of the Registrar and Evaluation, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, holds the primary responsibility for academic assessment, evaluation, and the dissemination of knowledge in measurement, evaluation, statistics, and research. It aims to publish diverse knowledge and develop systems for academic information dissemination to ensure fast and convenient access for staff and interested individuals. This aligns with the university’s distance learning model by using online systems to manage and distribute academic content to the public. It also encourages university personnel to publish academic and research works externally.
As a result, the Journal of Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Social Science Research was established in 2020. The journal is published online in two issues per year:
-
Issue 1: January – June

Initially, the journal is offered free of charge and accepts article submissions throughout the year. It aims to meet academic quality standards and has been evaluated and accepted into Tier 2 of the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI), effective from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2029.
