Cultural Tourism Promotion of Dong Lakhon Subdistrict of Mueang Nakhon Nayok District in Nakhon Nayok Province

The two objectives of this research were (1) to examine the current state of cultural tourism promotion and (1) to propose guidelines for developing the promotion of cultural tourism in the Dong Lakorn Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Nayok District, Nakhon Nayok Province. A sample of 381 individuals participated in the study, providing quantitative data through questionnaires. Qualitative data were collected through interviews with 20 key informants from Tourism Authority of Thailand, Nakhon Nayok Province, and community leaders in Dong Lakorn Subdistrict. Data analysis employed both descriptive statistics for quantitative data and inductive interpretation with logical analysis for qualitative insights. The findings revealed that overall cultural tourism promotion, encompassing service provision, marketing, and tourist activities, was at a high level. The study proposes guidelines for enhancing cultural tourism in Dong Lakorn Subdistrict, including the development of tourist attractions and activities, establishment of cultural tourism routes, provision of services, cultural tourism management, and organization of promotional activities and tourism marketing.
