Civil Politics on the Provision of Public Services by the Local Government Organization in Trat Province

Abstract

In this thesis, the researcher examines (1) the steps and political activities of civil politics in public service management; investigates (2) the problems and obstacles of the people sector in public service management; and proposes (3) guidelines to increase the effectiveness in the people sector’s public service management of local government organizations in Trat province. The mixed-methods research approach was employed. In regard to the research and sample population, the researcher determined two groups of the sample population. (1) The public service providers consisted of civil servants and local administrators using the interview technique. (2) The public service users consisted of the general public using a questionnaire. Findings are as follows: (1) civil participation political participation process the overall picture is moderate and local government organizations there were the most public service activities in the fiscal year 2020, providing the most infrastructure services, followed by 2019, providing the most and the least services on arts and culture, customs and local wisdom in 2018, providing the most services on arts and culture, traditions and local wisdom (2) problems and obstacles in the provision of public services public service recipients see the overall level is low and public service providers budget and personnel (legal limitations) are not enough to provide services. Including the cooperation of people that are too little as for the guidelines for allowing the public to participate in the provision of public services Most saw It should be about educating about the duties of citizenship and (3) ways to increase the effectiveness of public service provision. Public service providers are of the view that people should be encouraged to participate, have an adequate budget Including having knowledgeable personnel and having a sufficient number to provide services. As for public service users, the opinion should encourage people to participate, educate the public create an agent system public stage add comment channel Including creating a system for people to access information.
