A Prototype of Mahad Herbal Facial Spray Innovation

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the consumer demand towards the innovation model of Mahad herbal facial spray 2) to develop the prototype of innovation model of Mahad herbal facial spray and 3) to study of the level of consumer satisfaction towards prototype of Mahad herbal facial spray innovation. It is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative research. Sample groups include consumers who have used herbal skin care products and want to use Cosmetics of Mahad herbs from 40 persons. Tools used to collect data are classified into 2 types, which are in-depth interview form and questionnaire. Data analysis are using descriptive statistics to find the mean and standard deviation. The qualitative research found that consumers want facial skin care products with Mahad. It helps to brighten the face, and reduce wrinkles and make the skin feel full of water. It does not irritate the skin. The texture is clear water without brown color of Mahad meat. It is fragrant with flowers to use whenever you want. And it needs spray packaging. According to the needs of consumers, the result of the prototype innovation of Mahad herbal facial spray found that the production formula consists of 3.00 grams of Mahad extract, Distilled water 77.60 grams, Glycerin 2.00 grams, Gulf Stream mineral water 2.00 grams, Aloe Vera juice 10.00 grams, Red algae extract 2.00 grams, Collagen 3.00 grams, Preservatives 0.20 grams and Perfume 0.20 grams. The quantitative research found that the consumers were satisfied with the innovation model of Mahad herbal spray for innovation at high level ( = 4.24, S.D. = 0.71).
