This article attemps to study the historical document “James Low’s Journal. It’s an important document to study the West Coast of the Southern Part of Siam history during early Rattanakosin Period. Historical data from the document show attitude of the British towards the King of Siam, nobilities, bureaucracy. diplomatic attitude and the British's Interest in the West Coast of southern cities such as Junk Ceylon, Phangnga, Kedah and data about country conditions, economics, food, dress, play and the problems in the West Coast of the Southern Part of Siam.
