The Development and promotion of creative tourism in tourism communities with Innovative Ways of OTOP in Nakhon Nayok Province

This research aimed to study the guidelines for developing and promoting creative tourism with innovative ways of OTOP in Nakhon Nayok Province. The researcher used a qualitative research method by conducting in-depth interviews with specific stakeholders to obtain real data from representatives of each sector related to the development and promotion of tourism communities with innovativeways of OTOP in Nakhon Nayok Province, with a total of 20 communities in 4 districts. There were 5 groups, of key in formants with a total of 25 persons. The data were analyzed by using content analysis to conclude the results of this research.
The research results revealed that Nakhon Nayok Province used the cultural base, wisdom, and knowledge within the community or local area of unique people to support tourism activities, especially creative tourism by supporting and promoting the innovative tourism communities of OTOP Nawatwithi. They designed and produced to sale to tourists by transferring knowledge about the culture and identity of the community that are outstanding as follows: 1) The innovative tourism communities of OTOP in Mueang Nakhon Nayok District focused mostly on historical tourism, agricultural tourism, adventure tourism, food tourism, and cultural tourism. 2) The innovative tourism communities of OTOP in Ban Na District focused mostly on cultural tourism and agricultural tourism. Food tourism is the majority. 3) The innovative tourism community OTOP of Ongkharak District will focus on community lifestyle tourism, agricultural tourism, and nature tourism. 4) The innovative tourism community OTOP of Pak Phli District will focus on religious tourism, nature tourism, cultural tourism, and food tourism. It can be seen that Nakhon Nayok Province has beautiful nature, abundant food diches. All 4 districts, 20 communities can feature good cultures of each community. Therefore, there should be a project to develop and promote innovative tourism OTOP of Nakhon Nayok Province to be consistent with the identity of each community. The promotion traveled feature the way of life of people in the community for tourists to experience when visiting to Nakhon Nayok Province. It also generates income for people in the community and helps develop the economy of the communities all of there with increase the value of tourism of Nakhon Nayok.
