Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study guidelines for managing the OTOP Nawatwithi tourism community in the central region. The researcher uses a mixed method research format, which consists of quantitative research. (Quantitative Research) and Qualitative Research (Qualitative Research). The results of the study found that the correct and appropriate approaches include: 1) Current conditions in the management of the OTOP Nawatwithi tourism community 2) Concepts about the characteristics of the OTOP Nawatwithi tourism community 3) Management of the OTOP Nawatwithi tourism community 4) Theoretical concepts regarding community management efficiency 5) Guidelines in Management to increase the effectiveness of the OTOP Nawatwithi tourism community and 6) related research  Divided into sub-items as follows: Current conditions in community management: Consisting of 6 items: 1. Community management policy 2. Putting policy into practice. 3. Supervision/coordination 4. Community management guidelines 5. Strengths and weaknesses of the community 6. Obstacles and opportunities of the community Concepts about characteristics of OTOP Nawatwithi tourism communities: 1. Community location 2. Time period Operations 3. Number of members 4. Community leaders 5. Types of community products 6. Community products and services Tourism community management: The components include: 1. Community business operations. 2. Development of tourist attractions and facilities 3. Development of products and services 4. Linking routes in each locality 5. Marketing promotion Effectiveness of community management: 1. Production (Production) 2. Efficiency (Efficiency) 3. Satisfaction (Satisfaction) 4. Modification (Adaptiveness) 5. Development (Development). Skills in summarizing and collecting examples of guidelines for managing innovative tourism formats in the central region.
