THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANALYTICAL THINKING ABILITY AND TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION COMPETENCE USING INQUIRY CYCLE LEARNING MODEL WITH TEAM GAME TOURNAMENT OF GRADE 6 STUDENTS

The purposes of this study were to 1) develop analytical thinking ability of grade 6 student using inquiry cycle learning model with team game tournament which 80 percent of students could pass the 75 percent criterion and up and 2) develop teamwork and collaboration competency of grade 6 student using inquiry cycle learning model with team game tournament so that 80 percent of students could pass the 75 percent criterion and up. The objective of this action research. The target was 20 participants of grade 6 student at Banjik school in Kumauni District Buriram Province using purposive sampling method. The research instrument included lesson plans using inquiry cycle learning model with team game tournament, post-lesson report, behavioral learning observation form, pedagogue behavior observation form, analytical thinking ability test and teamwork and collaboration competence assessment form. The results revealed that 1) students had analytical thinking ability which 85 percent of students passed the criteria 79.50 percent so that it was higher than the determined criterion. 2) Students indicated teamwork and collaboration competence which 100 percent of those passed the criteria or 90.00 percent which was higher than the specified criteria. Knowledge in the research found that inquiry cycle learning model with team game tournament helps students develop a more efficient analytical thinking system and teamwork process.
