Abstract

This research article aimed to: 1. Study the school administration approaches in the digital era of the Church of Christ in Thailand Foundation; 2. Develop and validate a model for school administration in the digital era; and 3. Evaluate the developed model. The study employed a qualitative research methodology. Key informants were 25 school administrators from 5 schools under the foundation, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a semi-structured interview, and the data were analyzed using content analysis with descriptive narration. The findings revealed the following: 1) The administrative approaches in the digital era comprised four main domains: academic administration, budget administration, personnel administration, and general administration. 2) The developed model for school administration in the digital era consisted of six key components: (1) principles of digital-era school administration, (2) objectives, (3) input factors, (4) the administrative process based on the PDCA cycle—Plan, Do, Check, Act, (5) expected outcomes, and (6) success factors. 3) The evaluation of the model indicated that it was highly feasible and beneficial overall. This study reflects the readiness of schools under the Church of Christ in Thailand Foundation to adapt and develop their administrative systems to align effectively with the demands of the digital era.
