CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT FOR BORDER SCHOOLS OF BASIC EDUCATION IN THAILAND

This research has the objective to study the conditions and management guidelines for border schools in basic educational institutions in Thailand. It is qualitative research. Key informants include 5 educational institution directors and 7 experts obtained through purposive selection. The research tools are interviews and document recordings. The data were analyzed using content analysis. The research results found that; 1. Conditions of management of border schools of basic educational institutions in Thailand 1) Location of border schools is located in an area adjacent to the border area with the country. Lao People's Democratic Republic, The republic of the Union of Myanmar and The Kingdom of Cambodia 2) Education is organized mostly at the basic education level from Kindergarten Year 1 - Mathayom 6, there are educational personnel. 3) General conditions that affect the quality of education in border areas include economic, social, security, transportation, and public health. and environmental aspects 4) Analysis of organizational conditions (SWOT) of border schools. 2. Guidelines for managing border schools of basic educational institutions in Thailand 1) The principles for managing border schools use school-based management as a base, school-based management (School- Based Management : SBM) 2) The process of managing marginalized schools is as follows: 2.1) planning 2.2) organization 2.3) administration 2.4) coordination 2.5) control 3) spatial education (Area based Education : ABE). From the research on the conditions and management guidelines for border schools in basic educational institutions in Thailand. Improve the quality of education to keep it up to date with the modern world and have equality according to human rights principles to provide information for the management of border schools of basic educational institutions in Thailand. provide information for the management of marginal schools of basic educational institutions in Thailand.
