STATE AND GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPETENCY OF MONASTIC SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS WITH THE SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY PHILOSOPHY

Abstract

The examination of the competency state of monastic school administrators and the development of their competency are the two goals of this study. The research method is mixed-method research. A questionnaire was utilized to obtain field data from 408 monastic school administrators for quantitative research. The frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were employed in data analysis. While qualitative research comprises document analysis and interview questions to collect field data from 12 key informants, data analysis techniques such as content and context analysis are used to interpret the data. The findings revealed that: 1) Monastic school administrators had a high level of general competency with the philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy. Individual competencies had the greatest average in each category, followed by functional skills, while core competencies had the lowest average. And 2) the researcher discovered 11 techniques for developing executive capabilities after studying competency development recommendations. 1) Research and learn about the fundamental competencies, functional competencies, and individual competencies that are crucial and required for the self-management of monastic school instruction. 2) Learning via work obligations such as holding a position or obtaining one from a commander 3). Participate in training and educational courses offered by executive development institutes or other organizations. 4. Model for a field trip and knowledge exchange with school administrators (best practices) 5. Gain knowledge from firsthand experience in your own profession. 6.) Knowledge exchange via the professional learning community method 7). Compiling knowledge and experience of excellent practices 8). Development plan preparation (9); informal education (10). formal education 11) Conduct a workshop using the SPDCA approach.
