Abstract

          Factors affecting the effectiveness of nursing college instructors' counseling.this study aim is to 1) Investigate the factors that influence the effectiveness of the counseling provided by instructors at Boromarajonani College of Nursing. 2) Analyze the Boromarajonani College of Nursing instructors' effective counseling guidelines. The research design employed in this study was mixed methods, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative approaches. A total of 310 nursing administrators and instructors were in attendance. The research tools comprise a questionnaire that investigates the various factors that influence nursing instructors' ability to provide effective counseling. Descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression coefficients were employed to analyze the data. In the qualitative study, ten counseling instructors and administrators participated in semi-structured interviews. The qualitative data were subjected to content analysis.

The findings: 1. Various factors, including personnel considerations, instructor development system, and the counseling management system, influence the effectiveness of counseling by instructors at Boromarajonani College of Nursing. Additionally, supportive factors such as college policy, budget, and facilitators contribute to the effectiveness of counseling by nursing instructors. 2. The efficient counselling were as follows: 1) The qualifications of personnel, particularly advisors, should be assessed to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge, counseling abilities, and role model status to provide students with sound advice. 2) At the network levels of colleges and non-college regions, instructor development systems comprise guiding principles, objectives, operational procedures, ongoing knowledge review, and knowledge exchange. 3) The consulting management system that establishes the framework and duties; the explicit process; and the information technology applying.
