Duties of Reviewers
- Reviews should be conducted objectively. Reviewers must be aware of any personal bias or personal criticism they may have. They should express their views clearly with supporting arguments and scholarly reasons without regard to personal interests.
- Reviewers must not seek any advantages from the manuscripts, articles, or research they review and evaluate.
- Reviewers must have suitable expertise in the relevant field.
- Reviewers should be alert to potential ethical issues in the paper and should bring these to the attention of the editor, including any forms of plagiarism, substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which the reviewers have personal knowledge.
- Reviewers must finish reviewing their manuscripts in the assigned time. They must also protect the confidentiality of all material submitted to the journal and all communications with the editor and the journal.
