The Effects of CIPPA Model on Learning Achievement and Health Behaviors on the Subject of Health Promotion in 8th Grade Students During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study 3 aspects: 1) the effects of the CIPPA Model on learning achievement 2) health behaviors and 3) student satisfaction on learning the Health Promotion of 8th grade students amidst the COVID -19 Pandemic. The participants of the research were 34 students from 8th grade at Borabue School in Borabue District, MahaSarakham Province. The research instruments used were 8 learning management plans, an achievement test, a health behavior assessment, and a students’ satisfaction assessment. Data was analyzed to calculate for frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.  T-test dependent was used to analyze differences between pretest and posttest learning.  The research findings show that:


  1. Students learning achievement scores on pretest and posttest were significantly different (p<0.05).

       2. Students health behavior scores on pretest and posttest were significantly different (p<0.05).                                   3. Students displayed the highest level of satisfaction in their learning, based on CIPPA Model on learning achievement and health behaviors.
