Main Article Content
Abstract
This article intends to clarify accomplishments in Vietnam-Australia diplomatic relations in educational and training cooperation. During 12 years (2009 - 2021), the number of Vietnamese students in Australia significantly increased. Besides, the Australian Government and non-profit organizations actively awarded many high-value scholarships for excellent Vietnamese students to pursue a course in Australia. The Vietnam government allowed some Australian organizations and funds to open a linked school system to enhance the quality of education for Vietnamese students, mainly in higher education and vocational education. Thanks to this dedication, the modern education of Vietnam has an opportunity of promoting and modernizing. Also, Australia can reinforce its soft power in Southeast Asia. Educational cooperation between Vietnam and Australia will be enhanced in the future because this bilateral relation upgraded to Strategic Partnership since 2018.
