Economic and Social adaptation of the Vietnamese- Thai communities in Udonthani province

Abstract

This article aims to study the economic and
social adaptation of Vietnamese-Thai communities,
Udonthani province that have been changing thoroughly
a development period of communities. There are many
factors that affect the economic and social of their
communities, both directly and indirectly. For instance,
Thailand-Vietnam government’s relation in each period,
the domestic political situations, the government
policies for Vietnamese in Thailand, social surrounding
and way of life of local people, the economic social
changes in Udonthani province which results in the
adaptation which changing at all time. However, a
culture and potential of Thai-Vietnamese are important
to support their communities can overcome any
difficulty and obstacle in the past. Resulting in Thai-
Vietnamese communities stepping into a key role in the
economic of Udonthani province in the present.
