Perception and Satisfaction Measurements of Mathayomsuksa 3 Students of Cha Nok Rong School on Infographic Learning Media for Astronomy and Space in Science Subject

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to compare Mathayomsuksa Secondary 3 students’ pre-lesson perception level with their post-lesson perception level of astronomy and space lessons in Science Subject of Cha Nok Rong School, and 2) to investigate satisfaction levels of the students towards their learning materials for astronomy and space lessons in Science Subject by using infographic learning media. The sample group consisted of 40 Mattayomsuksa 3 students in Cha Nok Rong School, Muang District, Phitsanulok Province, selected by a purposive sampling method.  The data was collected by using the assessment form which measures the perception of the learners towards infographic learning media and the students’ satisfaction levels of the infographic learning materials. The results revealed that the students had more positive perceptions towards the infographic learning media for astronomy and space lessons in Science Subject in post-lesson than pre-lesson with the statistical significance of 0.05. The satisfaction towards infographic learning media for astronomy and space for Mathayomsuksa 3 students, in terms of comprehension, form and usage were at a high level.  While the comprehension’s satisfaction level ranked the highest, the form’s and usage’s satisfaction levels were lower than the comprehension’s, respectively.
