A UBIQUITOUS LOCAL MUSEUMS MODEL: A CASE OF WAT PHRALUANG MUSEUM IN PHRAE PROVINCE FOR SECONDARY EDUCATION SCHOOL STUDENTS IN UPPER NORTHERN THAILAND

Abstract

The objectives were: (1) to develop A Ubiquitous local museum model:
A case of Wat Phraluang museum in Phrae province for school students in upper
Northern, Thailand, (2) to study the test of efficiency of the learning unit, (3) to study
student’s satisfaction to the model (4) to assess and certify the model. The samples
were: (1) 9 specialist of educational technology and specialist of teaching social
studies and specialist in local museum (2) 40 students of Sungmenchanupathum
school . (3) The research instruments were: (1) The model, (2) A test for learning
activities for each unit, (3) Questionnaire for student satisfaction with the model. (4)
Assessment and vertification from the specialist educational. The data were
analyzed using means, percentage, S.D., E1/E2 . The research found that: (1) The model
comprises of 5 components: 1) Context 2) Input 3) Knowledge and experience 4) Learning
outcomes and 5) Feedback to improve the model. The results of the experiment for the
efficiency of the teaching package based on the criteria of E1/E2 respectively
according to the 80/80 set criteria. (3) The students’ satisfaction to the model is a
good level. (4) The assessment of the model from the specialist experts are highly
appropriate.
