ลักษณะภาษาไทยสมัยอยุธยา: ศึกษาจากบันทึกรายวัน ของออกพระวิสุทธสุนธร (โกษาปาน)

บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะภาษาไทยสมัยอยุธยา กลุ่มข้อมูลคือบันทึกรายวันของออกพระวิสุทธสุนธร (โกษาปาน) จำนวน 68 หน้า ใช้แนวคิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงของภาษา (Language change) เป็นกรอบการวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ด้านอักขรวิธีมีความลักลั่นทั้งการใช้พยัญชนะ สระ วรรณยุกต์ และเครื่องหมาย ด้านคำศัพท์พบเฉพาะการสูญศัพท์ ด้านความหมายพบลักษณะความหมายแคบเข้า ความหมายย้ายที่ และความหมายสื่อไปในทางลบ ด้านไวยากรณ์พบการเปลี่ยนแปลงหน้าที่ของคำและการเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้าง ทั้งนี้การเปลี่ยนแปลงแต่ละด้านมีความสัมพันธ์เชื่อมโยงกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านอื่นซึ่งเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงภายใน (Internal change) ส่วนการเปลี่ยนแปลงภายนอก (External change) พบการใช้คำทับศัพท์ภาษาต่างประเทศ นอกจากนี้ยังพบลักษณะเด่น ได้แก่ การใช้สำนวน การใช้คำเชื่อม การใช้คำซ้อน ที่แสดงให้เห็นลักษณะของภาษาไทยสมัยอยุธยาได้ชัดเจนขึ้น
