บทคัดย่อ
การขยายตัวอย่างรวดเร็วของงานแพลตฟอร์ม ทำให้ประเทศต่าง ๆ เกิดความตื่นตัวในการวิจัยและการกำหนดนโยบายสาธารณะ ในสหภาพยุโรป และสหรัฐอเมริกา หัวข้อสุขภาพและความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ซึ่งมีความเป็นมายาวนานจนกลายเป็นบรรทัดฐานเชิงสถาบันในการกำกับดูแลแรงงานกำลังได้รับความสนใจ การวิจัยที่ผ่านมาทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจเบื้องต้น ต่อผลกระทบของงานแพลตฟอร์มต่อสุขภาพและความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ช่วยระบุและจำแนกประเด็นปัญหาให้ชัดเจนขึ้น และทำให้เห็นว่ามีช่องว่างความรู้อีกมากที่ควรเร่งทำความเข้าใจ บทความนี้เริ่มต้นด้วยการนำเสนอสถานการณ์ต่างประเทศ เริ่มจากลักษณะของงานแพลตฟอร์ม ความเป็นมาของหัวข้อสุขภาพและความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน และความคืบหน้าการวิจัยผลกระทบของงานแพลตฟอร์มต่อสุขภาพและความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน และช่วงหลังของบทความ นำเสนอสถานการณ์ในประเทศไทย บทความแสดงให้เห็นว่าการวิจัยเรื่องงานแพลตฟอร์มในประเทศไทยอยู่ในขั้นเริ่มต้น โดยเฉพาะประเด็นผลกระทบของงานแพลตฟอร์มต่อสุขภาพและความปลอดภัยในการทำงานอยู่ในขั้นขาดแคลน การขาดแคลนงานวิจัยด้านนี้ในขณะที่งานแพลตฟอร์มกำลังขยายตัว และปัญหาสุขภาพและความปลอดภัยจากการทำงานแพลตฟอร์ม โดยเฉพาะงานเกี่ยวกับการขนส่งกำลังเกิดขึ้นแพร่หลาย ทำให้เห็นความจำเป็นเร่งด่วนในการวิจัยเรื่องนี้ เพื่อการกำกับดูแลแรงงานอย่างเหมาะสม
