บทคัดย่อ

Personal information has increasingly played an essential role in our lives due to the abundance of storage resources and the advancement of technology. Daily life, particularly in the context of work, always involves certain parts of information life cycle. Managing personal information in the context of work has become a grand challenge since it is highly dynamic. This study uses systematic review methodology to analyze related recent empirical studiesin scholarly databases in library and information science as well as computer science. As a result, there are 19 empirical studies investigating motivations and objectives of storing activities, storage approaches, access methods, tools/systems used, and issues related to personal information management in the context work. Most of the participants are academics, and office workers. Interview, observation, and survey are the main data collection methods. The results of this study indicate the currentscope and knowledge gap in this area which leads to opportunities for future investigations.
