Developing Strategies of Public Libraries in Sisaket Province toward Thailand 4.0

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the current conditions, demands and expectations of users of public libraries in Sisaket Province, and 2) study developing strategies of public libraries in Sisaket Province toward Thailand 4.0.  The results were as follows:  The developing strategies of public libraries in Sisaket Province toward Thailand 4.0 were to modernize the buildings, install air conditioners in order to be suitable for learning service.  In addition, the libraries should be able to service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It should provide new innovations. Several activities should also be provided and be accessible to people of all ages and genders. Various and modern kinds of information resources should be added into the libraries focusing on electronic information resources.
