Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study good governance in local administrative
organization based on the opinions of graduate students at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University
and to study recommendations on good governance practices based on the attitude of graduate
students at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University. The samples of this research were 242 graduate
students. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis were
percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research results revealed that the good governance
in the administration of local administrative organizations based on the opinions of the graduate
students in the Ubon Ratchathani Ratchathani University in principle of transparency aspect, there
should be description, instruction and suggestion on everything useful to the people who obtain the

services. The value aspect showed that there should be the effective application of limited
resources to make the best use of value and benefit to the public. The responsibility aspect showed
that there should be enthusiasm to resolve operational problems. The rule of law aspects showed
that there should be the performance to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations strictly.
The participation aspects showed that there should be an opportunity provided for personnel in the
organization and community to participate in performance assessment. The ethics aspect showed
that there should be the operation with integrity, goodness, and faith on the basis of morality and
ethics. Suggestions on operating according to the principles of good governance based on the
attitudes of graduate students at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University were as follows: there
should be an encouragement for personnel to be affiliated with the discipline of holding honesty,
ethics and professional ethics, and do their duties with fairness, and administer the best benefits to
the people without sticking in the position and should learn about the problems and then find the
solutions of the problems in time, should give information to the people to understand about the
rules. Executives had to have responsibility to the public to solve the problems and needs of the
people effectively and perfectly.
