Guidelines on Enriching Competencies of Providing the Learning Activities of Caregiver of the Child Development Centers under the Local Governmental Organization in the Area of Southeastern Isan

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the guidelines, to examine the suitability and
possibility of guidelines on enriching competencies of providing the learning activities of caregiver
of the child development centers under the local governmental organization in the area of
Southeastern Isan. Samples were 320 child development centers under the local governmental
organization in the area of Southeastern Isan obtained by lottery method. Research tools were
questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were used for analyzing data to find the mean ( X )
and standard deviation (S.D.), to consider the suitability of guidelines by focus group of 8 experts
and to confirm the suitability of guidelines by those experts. The results revealed that the guidelines
on enriching competencies of providing the learning activities of caregiver of the child development
centers under the local governmental organization in the area of Southeastern Isan were inserting of
4 competencies of 1) Learning Design, 2) Student-Centered Instruction, 3) Media Utilization and
Development, 4) Measurement and Evaluation in 6 learning activities; 1) Motor and rhythmic
activity, 2) Creative Activity, 3) Free Activity/Play Conners, 4) Experience Enhancement Activity,
5) Outdoor Activity and 6) Educational Games Activity with the total of 71 methods. The possibility
of the guidelines was overall in the highest level, while the examined result of suitability was
suitable.
