Capacity Improvement in Learning Design and Management of Students Teaching Chinese Through Active Learning Integrated with Local Data Under the Subject of Extension of Local Wisdom to Social Awareness and Development: Sanam Chandra Palace

Abstract
This research is a quasi–experimental research. The research objectives are to 1) improve capacity in relation to learning design and management of students teaching Chinese, 2) Compare the pre-post learning activity outcomes of the local wisdom, 3) investigate the awareness of value maintenance with respect to local wisdom, and 4) investigate the university students’ satisfaction toward learning management based on active learning integrated with local data. This research is learning management based on active learning integrated with local data for 10 students in the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign, Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University. The research instruments employed are 1) learning activity plan based on active learning, 2) pre-test and post-test, 3) assessment regarding learning design, consisting of 3 plans, 4) satisfaction survey and assessment regarding awareness in relation to extension of local wisdom. The given data were respectively analyzed by calculating mean, S.D., and t-test
The research findings are 1) university in the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign with learning management based on active learning integrated with local data appears to have better pre-learning outcomes compared to post-learning outcomes, 2) Students teaching Chinese’s capacity in terms of learning design and management is at a very good level., 3) Students have awareness of extension of local wisdom of Sanam Chandra Palace is at a very good level., and 4) The satisfaction of students toward the program of extension of local wisdom to social awareness and development: Sanam Chandra Palace is at a very good level.
