Abstract
This research aimed to study 1) levels of opinions of members towards the policy, participation, administration and strengths of Provincial Police Region 5 Saving and Credit Cooperative, 2) the influence of policy, participation, administration on strengths of Provincial Police Region 5 Saving and Credit Cooperative, and 3) a guideline for strengthening Provincial Police Region 5 Saving and Credit Cooperative. The study employed a mixed method research in which the quantitative research method consisted of a sample group of 405 members of Provincial Police Region 5 Saving and Credit Cooperative, and the in-depth interview of 18 persons was employed for the qualitative research method.
The research findings revealed that 1) policy had the highest level of opinion with the highest averaged of 3.37, followed by strengths, administration and
participation with the means of 3.07, 2.92 and 2.82, respectively. 2) The variable with the highest direct influence on strengths was administration; the variable with the highest indirect influence on strength was policy, and the variable with the highest influence on strengths was administration. And 3) the guideline for strengthening of the credit cooperative consisted of five crucial ways as follows: (1) administration, (2) human resource management, (3) participation, (4) policy and creation of competitiveness, and (5) how to operate towards strengths of Provincial Police Region 5.
