Abstract

The success or failure of the government organizations depend on the leader, because the leader is the person who is chosen to serve and move the organization for success in the missions and goals. Nowadays, it is challenging the knowledge, the ability of leaders and government organizations particularly, the dynamic of information technology can connects all the people quickly and easily that affects to the organizations and leaders. Therefore, to be surviving the organizations and leaders, they should improve themselves in many ways, such as knowledge, skills and the operation system, including development of the organizations under good governance. In order to build credibility, faithfully and impressed the customers and to work more efficiently and effectively.


This article discusses in 2 issues: 1) Three types leader, consist of change agent, strategic leaders and equilibrium leaders 2) The characteristics of leaders in modern government organization, consist of 1) good personality 2) visionary 3) potential 4) strategist 5) public relations 6) human relations 7) moral 8) marketing and 9) practitioner.
