Abstract

Forn Laikit: Local Dancing Art for Community Economic and Cultural Tourism Development is a Qualitative  research. The purpose of this study    is  to  study  a  creative  local  dancing  art,  and  promote  about  community  economic  and  cultural  tourism.The researcher studied  from documentaries  and  10  key  informants, analyzed  by use triangulation, and  presented  by  descriptive  analysis.

         It  revealed  that  Forn  Laikit  for  Community  Economic  and  Cultural  Development  come  forn  laikit  Silk  weaving  at  Ban Nongwaeng, Nong  Phue  Sub-district, Chaturaphakphiman  district,  Roi-Et  province.  They  used  cotton  weaving,  made  it  to  beautiful  laikit.  They  liked  to  weave  Number  3  wale  and  Wainoi  wale.  Moreover,  they  liked  green,  red,  yellow,  pink,  orange,  Skyblue,  purple,  and  black  color.  However,  they  disliked  dark  and  brown  color  because  consumers  displeasured.  They  used  Laikit  silk  in  daily  life  such  as  wearing  in  religious  ceremony,  put  on  a  turban,  using  for  waist  cloths,  and  etc.  Therefore,  The  researcher  creates  beautiful  local  dancing  art  by  used  Laikit  breast  cloth  for  Forn.  This  dancing  used  for  community  economic  and  cultural  tourism  development.  In  addition,  it  makes  people  realized  to  importance,  attractiveness  to  preserve  this  precious  dancing.
