Development of an Office Supplies Disbursement System Using the AppSheet Platform

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an office supplies disbursement system using the AppSheet platform at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok to simplify requisition processes and enhance material management efficiency. The application reduces paper usage and supports real-time data synchronization. A survey research design was employed, using purposive sampling to collect feedback from 20 staff members at the Rayong Campus. Data were gathered through questionnaires evaluating four aspects: Functional Requirement Test, Functional Test, Usability Test, and Security Test. Descriptive statistics, including mean (μ) and standard deviation (SD), were used for analysis. The findings indicated an overall high level of user satisfaction (μ = 4.02, SD = 0.80), with the Usability Test scoring highest (μ = 4.10, SD = 0.77), reflecting a user-friendly and efficient design. Functional Test (μ = 4.06, SD = 0.83) and Functional Requirement Test (μ = 4.00, SD = 0.78) were also rated highly. Security Test (μ = 3.95, SD = 0.83) highlighted the need for enhanced security measures. The system demonstrates potential adaptability for other organizations, including government agencies and small businesses, while leveraging AppSheet's integration capabilities with Cloud Computing and IoT to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency in the digital era.
