          This research conducted qualitative research focused on understanding the process of creating social space and maintaining the identity of ethnic students under the Fund for Educational Equality (EEF) at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Chiang Rai. The key informants in this study are ethnic students under Fund for Educational Equality Studying on a 5-year scholarship, professional certificate level course continuously up to the level of an advanced professional certificate which are 71 people enrolled in the academic year 2023. The research utilized interviews and focus groups as data collection tools and then analyzed the gathered information by categorizing the issues. Results found that 1) Creating Social Space for Ethnic Students: Process Model Identified: The process of creating social space for ethnic students within EEF involves several key stages: expressing oneself and adjusting, seeking acceptance through identity pride, negotiation for Integration and creating Opportunities.2) Maintaining Identity of Ethnic Students: Process of Identity Maintenance: The process of maintaining the ethnic identity of students within EEF revolves around three main aspects: Academic Achievement and Learning, showcasing ethnic identity in activities and building relationship networks. These findings offer valuable insights into enhancing the social integration and identity maintenance of ethnic students within educational institutions, highlighting the significance of acceptance, pride in identity, and fostering inclusive spaces.
