The development of imaginative writing and learning achievements of Grade 4 students by cooperative learning management CIRC integrated with the mind mapping

Abstract
This research aims to 1) enhance Grade 4 students' imaginative writing ability and educational achievements through cooperative learning management, specifically the use of CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques, effectively following the standard 75/75. 2) compare the students’ ability in imaginative writing during and after cooperative learning management, specifically the use of CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques. 3) compare the educational achievements through imaginative writing lesson during and after cooperative learning management, specifically the use of CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques. 4) to investigate the students’ satisfaction of cooperative learning management, specifically the use of CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques.
The sample involved in this research, which was randomly chosen, consisted of 31 students from Grade 4/1 in semester 2 of the academic year 2023 at Holy Redeemer Banphai School. The learning management plan, imaginative writing test, educational achievement test, and satisfaction survey were used as research tools. The statistics used to analyze information were average, standard deviation, and Dependent Sample t-test.
The research found that
1. The efficiency of Grade 4 students through cooperative learning management, specifically using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques (E1/E2), is 79.27/84.09, which is above the standard.
2. Grade 4 students who were involved in cooperative learning management, specifically using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques, showed a statistically significant increase in their potential to write imaginatively after class.
3. Grade 4 students who were involved in cooperative learning management, specifically using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques, showed statistically significant increase in their level of educational achievement after class.
4. Grade 4 students showed high satisfaction with cooperative learning management, particularly with the use of the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) method integrated with mind mapping techniques.
