Legal Knowledge For Building Immune And Awareness In Social Media Usage Of Udonthani Youth.

Abstract

In this study the researcher aimed to develop of the legal knowledge platform and procedure for building immune and awareness in social media usage of Udonthani youth. The youths between the ages of 17 and 18 years^[1] (Matthayom 6) both males and females from 3 district schools (Udon Phichairakpittaya School, Nong Han Wittaya School and Phenpittayakom School) are selected as the simple random sampling. 40 students from each school have been invited to participate in this study. The research instruments are 1) the legal knowledge platform and procedure for building immune and awareness in social media usage and 2) the pretest-posttest with the difficulty level between 0.20 and 0.55, the discriminant power level between 0.25 and 0.50 and the confidence level of 0.7. The statistics tools used for this study are are average, percentage, Standard Deviation, Paired Sample t-test and Willcoxon Signed Ranks Test.

The study result showed that

1) the legal knowledge platform and procedure for building immune and awareness in social media usage has the level of appropriateness for usage is "High" or 68.30%, the clear content in the "High" level or 71.90%, and the possibility for practical usage witnesses "High" level or 51%

2) after training the youths from 3 district schools; Udon Phichairakpittaya School, Nong Han Wittaya School and Phenpittayakom School better understand, particularly in the legal terms of cyber bullying and phishing by social media with 32.5%, 33.8%, and 20% higher than before the training respectively.
