บทคัดย่อ

This research aims 1) to investigate the status of Chinese vocal music and piano accompaniment; 2) to analyze the piano accompaniment between Chinese folk songs and Chinese modern songs. This research used a qualitative research methodology for collecting data of piano accompaniments for Chinese folk songs and Chinese modern songs at Sichuan Conservatory of Music, China. The results are that Chinese folk songs and Chinese modern songs are of Chinese mainstream singing art. There are the two kinds of different types of vocal music performances. Vocal music in the piano accompaniment for the vocal music teaching and performing in China has a very important guiding role but it is very short and does not cause the attention of the corresponding due to the piano into the 1600 A.D. of Chinese year. It does not have a complete system of learning and educating. Music background for the performance is very important whether the singer or the pianist and the melody of songs are unique as following of historical background that affected each other. Thus, comparing musical styles are different between Chinese folk songs and Chinese modern songs. Analyzing melody is essential for a good piano accompaniment skill. It is the need of singers for acquiring knowledge and learning. Therefore, this study is helpful to improve the performance skills of piano accompaniment for supporting a vocal music. It also provides some references for the systematic teaching of piano accompaniment in the future.
