Abstract

          The use of Thai language for communicating with students is important as it makes students have suitable maturity and good life skills which is considered to be important and essential for living in the world with fast change so the people must have wide-ranged knowledge. One of the major problems of Thai students is the lack of thinking skills that can be considered as the basis of all learning. It can be said that Thai students still cannot think, do not know how to think and do not use Thai language for communication in developing systematic thinking properly. These cause the lacking of good discretion and less thought when they grow up. Teaching students to practice their thinking skill is therefore an important thing that should be cultivated in university.


     This article has a purpose to point out that the riddle is a tool for transferring culture from one generation to the next generation. Therefore, making Thai culture to be sustainable and prosperous needs to be done by using Thai language as a tool through the use of riddle, which is a systematic thinking and the development based on the Thai language method that uses language in games variously. The concept of riddle is ​​to confuse the respondents by creating catchy question that hides its crux that is unpredictable whereas question and answer are also flexible. Occasionally, the answer is unforeseen because the competitor use language to create tricky question. The riddle is therefore unique in the use of language that is needed to be practiced with various ideas and also a fun communication from the past to the present.
