ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH FACTORS AFFECTING QUALITY OF SERVICE OF DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OFFICE AT SA KAEO PROVINCE

Abstract
The purposes of the study were to: 1) study the level of organizational health and the level of quality of service of development department office at Sa Kaeo province 2) study correlation of organizational health and quality of Service of development department office at Sa Kaeo province 3) study organizational health factors affecting quality of service of development department office at Sa Kaeo province. The samples consisted of 79 personnel at Sa Kaeo province by using simple sampling. Research instrument for data collection was 5 point scale questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by measuring Frequency, Mean, Standard Deviation, Peason’s correlation as well as Multiple Regression Analysis.
The findings revealed as follows: 1. The organizational health was found at high level overall (4.38), but foremost to development and change (4.39), maintenance (4.38), and then to mission (4.36). But the service quality was found at high level overall (4.38), but foremost to responsiveness (4.50), confidence (4.43), empathy (4.42), reliability (4.50) and then to technology (4.24) 2. The correlation of organizational health and quality of Service were found at high level overall (r=0.76) but foremost to mission (r=0.81) maintenance (r=0.72) and development and change (r=0.69) 3. The organizational health variables had direct effect to the service quality at .05 level of statistical significance. The effects toward the service quality were characterized into 2 following kinds, i.e., 1) mission (β=0.777) 2) development and change (β=0.212). The result of the prediction was 81.40 percent.
