Abstract
Abstract
This research aimed to (1) develop a technical work manual to enhance safety for undergraduate industrial technology students, (2) evaluate the quality of the developed manual, and (3) investigate the effects of using the manual on students’ safety knowledge and skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach. The sample consisted of 45 undergraduate students from the Industrial Technology program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Rajabhat University, selected by cluster sampling. Research instruments included (1) the technical work safety manual, (2) a manual quality evaluation form completed by experts, and (3) a safety knowledge test administered before and after using the manual. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The results indicated that (1) the developed manual was rated at the highest level of quality, (2) students’ post-test safety knowledge scores were significantly higher than pre-test scores at the .05 level, and (3) the manual effectively promoted practical learning and reduced risks associated with technical work operations.
