Developing financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies to prepare for retirement for working-age individuals in the Eastern region

Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the financial literacy, behavior, and problems of financial planning, risk management, and investment in preparation for retirement among working-age individuals in the Eastern region; 2) study the appropriateness and feasibility of financial planning, risk management, and investment in preparation for retirement among working-age individuals in the Eastern region; and 3) study the development and promotion of financial literacy in preparation for retirement among working-age individuals in the Eastern region. The mixed-methods research sample includes working-age individuals aged 25-59 years from the public sector, private sector, self-employment, trade, service, and delivery industries in Chachoengsao, Chonburi, and Prachinburi provinces. Quantitative research uses a purposive sampling method of 300 respondents and employs questionnaires with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Qualitative research uses a purposive sampling method of 15 respondents and employs participatory in-depth interviews.
The results of the research found that 1) the working age group has the highest level of knowledge about financial planning and has guidelines for saving. income preparation Your own expenses are very good. 2) Financial feasibility Risk and investment management must be appropriate for each individual, with flexibility based on the level of income, debt burden, cost of living, and risk management ability of each individual. And 3) the financial discipline program encourages financial institutions to provide advice and guidance on saving in a systematic way. Providing knowledge about long-term investing And the organization provides savings benefits to personnel for stable retirement.
