Development of a News Public Relations Management System for the Website of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University

Abstract
This research and development study aimed to: 1) develop a web-based public relations news management system for the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, and 2) evaluate the efficiency and user satisfaction of the developed system. The study was conducted in two phases. The first phase, a requirement survey, involved 89 participants. The second phase, the system evaluation, involved 85 participants selected through simple random sampling from the faculty's personnel and students. The research instruments included a requirement survey questionnaire, the developed Content Management System (CMS), and a user satisfaction evaluation form. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient.
The findings revealed that: 1) The overall requirement for system development was at the highest level ( x= 4.56), emphasizing the need for integration with other university systems and an easily searchable news categorization. Consequently, a web-based CMS featuring a responsive design for both back-end management and front-end display was developed. 2) User satisfaction with the back-end system was at the highest level ( x= 4.57), while satisfaction with the front-end website was at a high level ( x= 4.49). The system's responsive design and user-friendly tools were identified as its most prominent features. 3) There was no statistically significant difference in satisfaction levels between personnel and students. 4) A high positive correlation was found between back-end system efficiency and front-end website satisfaction at the .01 level of significance ( r= 0.72).
