The Development of Creative Problem-Solving Skill of Six Grade Students with Project-Base Learning Management in Combination with Infographics

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the creative problem-solving of the Grade 6 students at Mahachai Christian Wittaya school before and after participation in the project-based learning management in combination with infographics, and 2) to develop the ability of creative problem-solving and the combination with infographics of the Grade 6 students at Mahachai Christian Wittaya school after learning management. This study is experimental research that took place over a period of 5 weeks, 20 hours. The sample group obtained cluster random sampling consisted of 25 Grade 6 students studying in the second semester during the academic year 2022 at Mahachai Christian Wittaya school, Samut Sakhon. The instruments which employed to collect data were 1) 6 lesson plans on project-based learning management in combination with infographics, 2) a learning outcome test on my body with 30 multiple-choice questions, 3) an evaluation of the ability of creative problem solving, and 4) an evaluation of the creativity of the infographic. The collected data were analyzed by mean (M), standard deviation (SD), and t-test.

The findings were as follows: 1) to compare creative problem solving of the grade 6 students Mahachai Christian Wittaya school after project-based learning management in combination with infographics was higher than the learning outcomes before the participation in learning at the level of .05 significance, 2) The ability on creative problem solving of the students was at a good level, and 3) The ability on creativity of infographic of the students was at a good level.
