System Development and Manual of Performance Reporting System for Local Development Strategy Project, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University

Abstract

         The research titled "Development of a Manual and a Reporting System for Strategic Local Development Project Implementation of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University" aims to: (1) develop a reporting system for the strategic local development project implementation of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, (2) create a user manual for the reporting system, and (3) enhance the efficiency of monitoring and supervising the project implementation. Two research instruments were used: (1) a questionnaire for collecting quantitative data, and (2) an interview form for collecting qualitative data. The sample consisted of two groups: (1) three computer experts, including university instructors and staff with expertise in computer programs, and (2) twenty-one system users, comprising instructors and personnel responsible for entering project performance data into the system. Additionally, interviews were conducted with three key informants: a vice president in charge of strategic planning, a staff member from the Policy and Planning Division, and a staff member from the Strategic Local Development Project Office who compiles project results. Quantitative data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, processed with a statistical software program. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. Furthermore, a user manual for the reporting system was developed to help users understand the processes and procedures involved in recording relevant data into the strategic project reporting system of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.

         The results found that

1. From the development of the strategic local development project reporting system, users expressed the highest level of satisfaction with the system’s overall performance. When considering each aspect, the area with the highest average satisfaction was user interaction.


2. Regarding the development of the user manual for the reporting system, users reported the highest level of satisfaction with the manual for the strategic local development project reporting system of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.


3. From the development of the reporting system, computer experts showed a high level of satisfaction with the system’s overall performance. When analyzed by aspect, system security received the highest average rating
