The Development of Enrichment Curriculum on Local Packaging Design Skills to Enhance Career Skills for Teacher Students

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to; 1) develop the enrichment curriculum on local packaging design skills to enhance career skills for teacher students, and 2) evaluate the effectiveness of the enrichment curriculum on local packaging design skills to enhance career skills for teacher students. The participants consisted of 25 students in the Program of Early childhood. They obtained by using purposive sampling. Research instruments included of: 1) the enrichment curriculum on local packaging design skills 2) career skills evaluation form and 3) the evaluation form of student’s opinion towards curriculum. The descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation were used to analyze the data.
The research finding were as follows:
1) the enrichment curriculum on local packaging design skills to enhance career skills for teacher students developed effectively. The principle focused on enrichment curriculum on local packaging design skills to enhance career skills. The objective was to enable students to learn local packaging design. There were content about enhance career skills and organizing courses to enhance local packaging design skills. There were 5 steps for curriculum development according to the AADDR Model: Step 1 Knowledge Creation (Acknowledge : A ), Step 2 Action Guidelines (Action : A ) Step 3 Knowledge Development (Development : D) Step 4 Designing (Design : D ) and step 5 Worksaccording to Actual Conditions (Review : R).
2) The effectiveness of the curriculum indicated that 2.1) The students' overall
career skills were at a very good level ( = 4.60, S.D. = 0.49). 2.2) The students' opinions on the local packaging design skills to enhance career skills were at the highest level (
= 4.59, S.D.= 0.49).
