The Syntactic Analysis and Comparison of the “ZHIDAOLEI DONGCI” verb

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to analyze the characteristic of the usage of ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI 2) to compare the definitions of the ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI verb and 3) to analyze the causes which make these ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI verbs errors. The sample group selected was the second year of Chinese major, faculty of Humanities and Sciences, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University. The Quota Sampling Technique sample was used in this study. The research tool was the test of ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI verb which contained 20 questions

The result of this research was found that the errors of using ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI were made 347 times, 57.83%. When described in details it was found that the error of the usage the ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI were 3 times, 33.33%. The characteristic of using ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI verb were made 91 times, 75.83 %. The errors of using MINGBAI were made 138 times, 70%. The error of using LIJIE were made 44 times, 73% and the error of using SHUXI were 135 time, 90%

   The cause of error in using ZHIDAOLEIDONGCI were from the misunderstanding of grammar and the differences of the usage of each word clearly.
