Abstract

          The objectives of this research aimed to 1) study health behavior and related factors of patients with type 2 diabetes. 2) study the relationship between leading factors, facilitating factors, additional factors, and health behavior. of patients with type 2 diabetes in the area of responsibility of Khanon NueaSubdistrict Health Promoting Hospital Bang Pa-in District Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The sample group was 100 patients with type 2 diabetes. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and range, and inferential statistics using independent samples t-test and Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient.


          The results of the research found that the sample group had health behaviors at an appropriate level, 78.0 percent had appropriate health behaviors, with the majority of the sample having access to health services at a high level, 97.0%, and knowledge about diabetes at a high level, 100.0% had awareness. Regarding moderate diabetes, 67.0 % had access to health services. Information about diabetes: Moderate level: 67.0%. Access to information about diabetes. At a high level, 100.0 %, and family support at a high level, 81.0 %.The factors that are related to health behavior include access to information about diabetes and have the highest positive relationship with health behavior (r =0.007). Summary of discussion and recommendations. Health personnel should encourage diabetic patients. Have a perception of the ability to practice health behaviors By organizing programs to promote and stimulate the potential of diabetic patients that benefits for patients management in the future.
