Abstract

          This study is an analysis of security in the healthcare services sector. a case study of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited. The objective is to study the variables that affect the value of securities and evaluate the security value of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited. The sample group is Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited. Study the relationship between independent and dependent variables with the Gretl Program. The statistics used were descriptive statistics including mean, median, maximum, minimum, and standard deviation, and inferential statistics including multiple regression analysis.


          The results of the study found that 1) from building a model to find the relationship between the dependent variable, which is the company’s total revenue, and the independent variables, which include gross domestic product (GDP), the number of tourists traveling to Thailand, inflation, and the rate of return on equity. Then analyze the relationship to forecast the total revenue of the company in the next 5 years. The results show that independent variables that affect total revenue at the statistical significance level of .05 comprise gross domestic product and number of tourists traveling into Thailand. 2) When evaluating the company’s value using 2.1) the discount cash flow method (DCF) method, the value of the company’s common shares was 20.58 baht per share, while 2.2) the valuation of the company using the Multiple Comparable method by finding the average of the ratios found that the value of the company’s common shares was at 22.92 baht.
