Good Governance Administration Paactices of the Executives of Pathum Thani Municipality, Bang Prok Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) study the good governance administration of the executives of Pathum Thani Municipality, Bang Prok Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province, and 2) compare the good governance administration of the executives of Pathum Thani Municipality, Bang Prok Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province, categorized by domographic. This study employed a quantitative research design. The sample size was determined using Yamane’s formula (1973, p. 887, cited in Ploypailin Toncharoempong, 2022, p. 59), resulting in a sample size of 188 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire, which was validated for content accuracy by three experts, yielding an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) of 0.98. The questionnaire was then pilot-tested with 30 respondents outside the sample group to examine reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient (Cronbach, 1990), The pilot test yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.99 demonstrating a hight degree of reliability suitable for field implementation.The findings revealed that: 1) personnel of Pathum Thani Municipality perceived the executives’ good governance administration at a high level overall, and 2) among personnel factors, differences in education level did not significantly affect perceptions of good governance administration. However, differences in gender, age, average monthly income, and work experience significantly affected personnel perceptions of good governance administration at the 0.05 level.
