The Potential Development of Otop Nawatwithi Community Tourism, Ban Sa Yai Chee, Noen Po Sub-district, Sam Ngam District, Phichit Province

Abstract

The objectives of this independent study are to 1) study the conditions for developing the tourism management potential of the Otop Nawatwithi community, 2) study the problems and obstacles to the development of the potential for tourism management in the Otop Nawatwithi community, and 3) study the guidelines for developing the potential for tourism management. Otop Nawatwithi Community follows an integrated research methodology. During quantitative research The sample group consisted of 233 household representatives. The instrument was a questionnaire with a confidence value of 0.844. Analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and qualitative research Includes in-depth interviews with 9 key informants. The tool is an interview form, analyzed descriptively. The results of the research found that 1) The condition of the development of tourism potential in the Otop Nawatwithi community is overall at a high level. 2) Problems and obstacles are that Ban Sa Yai Chee has problems with the basic factors of the community that result in the development of its potential. The community faces problems such as a lack of systematic water management and a problem with the drainage system in the village. causing damage to the infrastructure The village roads are narrow. cannot be expanded Including pollution problems in nearby communities, such as odors from chicken farms, etc. and 3) the approach to developing potential is to develop tourism personnel.
