GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING DIGITAL AGE ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS BASED ON THE IDDHIPADA IV PRINCIPLES IN THE BUENG SAM PHAN SCHOOL NETWORK, PATHUM THANI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Study the current state of digital age academic leadership among school administrators in the Bueng Samphan school network, 2) Study the development of digital-age academic leadership among school administrators based on the Iddhipada 4, and 3) Propose guidelines for developing digital age academic leadership among school administrators based on the Iddhipada 4. This research employs a mixed-methods approach. Quantitative research was conducted using questionnaires administered to a population of 126 teachers, with statistical analysis including percentages, frequencies, means, and standard deviations. Qualitative research involved document analysis, interviews with seven experts, and content analysis.

The research found that 1) The overall perception of the current state of academic leadership in the digital age among school administrators in the Bueng Samphan school network, Pathum Thani Province was found to be at a high level. 2) The method of developing academic leadership in the digital age of school administrators is an integration of Iddhipada 4 with the five aspects of academic leadership in the digital age. (1) Having a vision as a digital leader. (2) Creating a learning network in the digital age. (3) Excellence in the use of technology for learning. (4) Development and promotion of technological advancement of personnel. (5) Being a citizen in the digital age. 3) The guidelines for developing digital age academic leadership of school administrators based on Iddhipada 4 in the Bueng Samphan School network, Pathum Thani Province, consists of five aspects. (1) Having a vision as a digital leader, school administrators must recognize the importance of information technology and use it to enhance management and learning while fostering an organizational culture that supports the use of ICT. (2) Creating a learning network in the digital age, emphasizing on the use of social media and technological devices to facilitate collaboration among teachers, students and parents with the aim of reducing inequality and increasing access to information. (3) Excellence in using technology for learning. (4) In terms of personnel development and promotion of technological advancement, administrators must promote the integration of technology into work and teaching, while ensuring ethical practices and media literacy. (5) In terms of being citizens in the digital age, adjustments must be made to the learning management process to emphasize efficiency, modern approaches, and to encourage learners to pursue knowledge extensively.
