THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE MANAGEMENT EFFECTIVENESS OF HOMELESSNESS AND BEGGARS AT SRIRACHA MUNICIPALITY IN CHONBURI PROVINCE

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) Investigate the level of management effectiveness of homelessness and beggars at Sriracha Municipality in Chonburi Province, 2) Investigate the relationship of factors involving personnel, budget, materials and equipment, and operational methods affecting the management effectiveness of homelessness and beggars at Sriracha Municipality in Chonburi Province, and 3) Investigate the factors involving personnel, budget, materials and equipment, and operational methods affecting the management effectiveness of homelessness and beggars at Sriracha Municipality in Chonburi Province. The study was quantitative research and used questionnaire as the tool to collect data from 163 personnel who directly responsible for operation and management of beggars at Sriracha Municipality in Chonburi Province. The data analysis consisted of statistics of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression equation.
The research findings revealed the following: 1) The level of management effectiveness of homelessness and beggars at Sriracha Municipality in Chonburi Province was overall the highest. The consideration of each dimension revealed that on the average expense was the highest, followed by workload, work quality, and time spent in operations respectively, 2) Factors involving personnel, budget, materials and equipment, and operational methods had positive relationship with the management effectiveness of homelessness and beggars at Sriracha Municipality in Chonburi Province with the statistical significance at the level of 0.05, with high and moderate relationship levels, and 3) Factors affecting the management effectiveness of homelessness and beggars at Sriracha Municipality in Chonburi Province consisted of personnel, budget, materials and equipment, and operational methods with the statistical significance at the level of 0.05.
