GUIDELINES FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIR ADMINISTRATION DURING CORONA VIRUS 2019 PANDEMIC ACCORDANCE WITH FOUR NOBLE TRUTH OF ADMINISTRATORS UNDER PHRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHATA PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract

The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the general condition of academic administration under the outbreak situation of coronavirus 2019 of educational institution administrators, 2) to study methods for developing academic administration under the outbreak situation of coronavirus 2019 according to Four Noble Truths of educational institution administrators, and 3) to present the guidelines for academic administration under the outbreak situation of coronavirus 2019 according to Four Noble Truths principle of educational institution administrators under Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. This was a mixed methods research. In term of quantitative research, it used questionnaires on a sample of 320 administrators and teachers and interviewed with 5 experts. The research tools were questionnaires and interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed using basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The research results found that 1) the general condition of academic administration under the outbreak situation of coronavirus 2019 of educational institution administrators under Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, in overall and each aspect, all 6 aspects were at a high level, namely the development of learning processes, measurement and evaluation, development of educational institution curricula, development and use of technological media, development of internal quality assurance systems and educational standards and educational supervision, respectively, 2) the methods for developing academic administration under the outbreak situation of coronavirus 2019 according to Four Noble Truths of educational institution administrators consisting of (1) administrators conducted supervision using schools and projects as a base and summarized the supervision results by studying the changing world and social situations, adjusting the supervision model, developing the supervision system by using the mentor system, exchanging experiences in organizing supervision systems with other educational institutions and summarizing supervision results reports, (2) administrators gave opinions or advice to teachers according to the principles of supervision correctly and clearly by creating positive interactions between individuals and respecting each other, providing opportunities for supervisors to exchange experiences or consult and preparing a summary report on educational supervision and 3) the guidelines for academic administration under the outbreak situation of coronavirus 2019 according to Four Noble Truths principle of educational institution administrators, as it was consisted of studying the general conditions and needs in order to create a development plan for the educational supervision system, studying the changing world and social situations and the reasons why the supervision system must be developed, creating positive interactions between individuals, being friendly and respectful among others, there were various forms of supervision and exchanging of knowledge and reflection with the supervision network, evaluation and analysis of supervision results for continuous improvement and systematic in term of summarizing and reporting educational supervision results.
